Apricity West 2

April 22 and 23, 2022, Friday and Saturday
Just relaxed to the rhythm of the surf and the power of the wind today. This is Beach Weekend so action and people are plentiful on the Seawall. Ate lunch at Sonny’s - the Texas shrimp and homemade tartar sauce are delicious. Started the process of “picking up” today as we leave tomorrow morning for Cleveland, Texas.

April 24, 2022, Sunday
Farewell to the salty wind, churning surf, and ocean sand. Hooked up Gracie and headed north to Cleveland just a couple of hours up the road.

Houston

Joan (88) and Bill (91) Spik are dear friends of Rich’s from Dream Catcher in Deming, NM. They went off the road 2 years ago and moved their trailer onto their daughter’s property in the country. They have 4 sons along with Dora and have been married for 70 years. Bill (13th of 14 children) retired from the Navy (3 of his sons served as well) and was then called upon for his electronics expertise, taking the family from Virginia to Hawaii to Indonesia and more. Joan, who grew up on a farm and worked a family vegetable stand when she was 10 years old, became a neonatal unit healthcare coordinator.

Dora operates a mattress store in town and her husband, Randy, delivers those that are sold. He also DJ’s since his retirement from the Navy and US Postal Service. But his passion is for the American Legion where he wears several hats to bolster its support for the military veterans who served during wartime, as well as those who did not. He can grill a mean steak and Cajun sausage as well. They served a delicious meal followed by Blue Bell ice cream, the best in the country according to Rich.

They built this beautiful stone house on plush green acres of land shaded by oak, cypress, and pine trees. We haven’t seen this much green in a long time!

When they built the home, they dug out a pond which is stocked with perch and abounds with turtles. Squirrels dart in and out of the many well stocked bird feeders. Swallows and blue birds swoop in and out of their nests delivering food, while cardinals, wrens, mockingbirds, and others provide sweet melodious songs for our listening pleasure.

Four chickens in a spacious coop provide fresh eggs for both households. Two pug/terriers, Precious and Peter, and pug, Roxy, are their well behaved dogs. A bobcat has recently been sited along the wood-line by Joan.

Joan and Bill are blessed to have this space to settle with Dora and Randy watching over them. Good people! So glad to meet them.

April 25, 2022, Monday
On the road for six hours today from Cleveland to Monroe, LA. Had my first Whataburger which was good. It rained for part of the drive rinsing off the ocean sand which was still clinging to the rig, the car and the bikes.

April 26, 2022, Tuesday
Started out at 7am - destination Attalla, AL. Rich woke up with laryngitis today. He is sure it will be gone tomorrow when we stop at Debby and Ted Dutton’s in Parrottville, TN for one night...

Welcome to Mississippi! Chattanooga that is…

Dora told us to be sure to stop at Buc-ee’s for a great experience. She said the food is good too, but you have to experience it. We saw the signs, but we were taking a different route, so no go this time around.

What is a Kolache?
The Czech pastry that took Texas by storm!

Set up at Pineview RV Park - two ponds, playground, pet walk area - nice park.

Picked up Chester’s Chicken to bring home for dinner. They have Liver and Gizzards which I haven’t had in a long time. As we sat outside, a Goodyear Blimp passed over, low flying. Did NOT get a picture in time.

April 27, 2022, Wednesday
Driving out this morning toward the highway we spotted the blimp tethered at the air field.

Well, Rich can hardly talk, his throat is congested and eyes are watering! Dang it! I did not know that laryngitis is contagious, but according to Google it is. So I had to make the call to Debby that we should wait to see them in Lee upon their return for the summer. She asked if he did a Covid test. Since he did not have a temp and his throat wasn’t sore, we did not suspect Covid, but he will take the test when we get settled for the day. It turns out she, Ted, and Randy actually got it on New Year’s Eve and she had a sinus headache as a symptom. No one got really sick. We were so looking forward to visiting them again this year - BooHoo...

Drove by Kingsport, TN where my son, Randy, played with the Mets Minor League team for a year. Bob and I had a lot of fun making trips down to watch him pitch - great memories...💕

We decided to push through to Virginia and put up in Staunton at Walnut Hill RV Park after a long, demanding day of driving 11 hours. The number of 18 wheelers on the road is incredible, added to that the strong winds later in the day made it a white knuckle ride some of the time that I was driving.

Our shortest trip so far was 2 hours from Galveston to Cleveland on Sunday; our longest ride was today.

April 28, 2022, Thursday
Rich tested negative for Covid and feels better today after a good night's sleep. We got on the road at 7:30 am and the traffic is already heavy with trucks and commuters. The Diesel fuel prices have been hovering just above $5/gallon, but if you want to explore, you deal with it. It is what it is! Check that - when we got to Pennsylvania and gassed up, the Sunoco sign said 5.69, but we had no choice. The first pump he tried wouldn’t let him pump, so we moved to another and it registered at 6.369 - could NOT believe it.

I think he couldn’t pump at first because they were changing the price! It seems that New England prices are notably higher than the rest of the country we have traveled - including California which was 5.05!

Pilot Truck stop - all lined up at pumps - $ cha-ching $

The green landscape is beautiful with rolling hills divided into lots with fences and tree lines, dotted with pink blossoms of Dogwoods. Historic attractions along the way are inviting, but we are on a mission - getting home.

We will arrive in Glens Falls tomorrow where Rich’s kids live. Then to Lee on Monday to see my family…

Apricity West 2

April 15, 2022, Friday
Only 1/2 hour into our drive on Intestate 10, we saw the blue and red lights of several rescue vehicles and two mangled piles of twisted metal. Traffic was backed up for 3 miles and entrances to I-10 West were closed. Thankfully we were traveling East. Later, we found out it was a head on collision at 4:30 am with 2 fatalities. One thing that does for you when driving is raise your awareness and compulsion to drive defensively. Though the speed limit is 80, we go 64 mph and stay in our lane.

Scenery changes:
Tattered plastic grocery bags caught on brush and fencing
Smell the stockyards before we could see them
Indoor Skydiving ads
El Paso border with Mexico

Greener brush
Changed to Central Time Zone

We could see in the rear camera that the bike cover was flopping around so we stopped to re-strap it. Good thing we did as the bolts on one of the wheels had jiggled loose and was hanging off of the bungy chord we used to hold them together. That would have been a dangerous situation if it broke loose and fell in the traffic behind!

Fort Stockton sillouettes on the horizon.

It was hot and humid so once we were settled, I called the office to find out if the pool was heated. Oh yes, it is very warm, So I changed into my suit and walked over to the pool. There was a young family playing in the water and the dad asked if I was prepared for cold water. Hmmmm. It was more like 70 degrees and I just sat on the steps and cupped my hands to pour water over my arms and legs to cool off.

Had dinner at the Roadrunner Cafe in the park and the same couple were running it as last year. Of course, Rich knew them from when he work-camped there years ago.

All of my family is traveling today - Randy, my son and family to Florida, Shannon, my daughter and sons and friends flying to Galveston, and us driving to Fort Stockton. Everyone made it to their destination without incident - praise God. 🙏

Randy, Lily, Kristie, Leanna…

April 16, 2022, Saturday
It’s an overcast hazy day as we roll along I-10 with windmills popping up on the horizon and oil pumps churning to extract their riches as well. A small brook, no more cactus, a lot of roadkill - mostly deer, shredded tires from big trucks.

Got to Boerne, TX safely at 2pm. Ate leftovers from the fridge for dinner.

April 17, 2022, Happy Easter Sunday
Got an early start (7am) and stayed on the highway (I-10) with light traffic today. How did I end up driving through construction and Houston? I think that 80% of the roads in Texas are under construction. I got to the Astrodome before I could make a graceful (and grateful) exit and Rich took over for the last leg. He starts, I drive the middle leg, and he finishes and lands.

Couldn’t wait to see Shannon and the boys! Danica and her 2 boys are their travel buddies - always good to see them.
They were having a great time at the pool at their condo unit and then we went to the Texas Pit Stop BBQ for dinner - within walking distance. Our only obstacle is transportation for 8 people when we only have the VW bug!

April 18, 2022, Monday
We drove over to their condo (2.5 miles) and parked on the Seawall across the street to enjoy the ocean sun and surf. Shannon made sandwiches and brought a cooler with beverages for all.

Mitchell, Jacob, Zachary - Darren was in the water. It’s like herding cats to get everyone in a shot. See video in body of the email also…

When we got back to the RV park mid-afternoon, a 42 foot Class A motor home was backing in next to us. Couldn’t wait to hear this story!

6’4” Daniel (43), Kristina, Sophia (6), 2 Shepards (Max and Sarah) became quick acquaintances. Mom and Dad came to America from Romania in 2005 with $50 in their pocket and settled in New Jersey. He deals with logistics of transportation and works through the night as he is dealing with Romania. She works for Morgan Stanley and when they offered her a promotion and raise in 2011 to move to Houston, the answer was simple - Yes. They live in Kingwood, near where Rich lived in the Woodlands, so they had a lot to talk about. He asked right up front if we were Republican or Democrat and Rich answered “Independent” until we found out he was the only Democrat on his street. He also told us that he and Kristina were vaccinated, but Sophia was not in case we wanted to play with her - very considerate. He talked about how expensive it is to maintain it - $5K for annual check up, $400 to fill the tank, $400/month for storage, $5 - 6K for tires, etc. They are looking to buy 300-400 acres of land near the ocean for his boat in Maine or NY and will be coming to New England this summer so he will be changing his tires for the trip. He enjoyed his vaping as we talked.

We met up with Lennie and Susie at Miller’s Grill for a delicious dinner and peach cobbler for dessert. We each split one of these…

Susie’s dad passed recently and she commissioned Rich to draw his picture for the upcoming memorial service. She was very pleased with it.

April 19, 2022, Tuesday
Drove to Shannon’s condo and I sat with the kids while Rich took Shannon and Danica for a ride down Seawall Blvd. to see the shops, restaurants, vendors, amusement rides on the pier; then into town to see The Strand on Market Street; and then Port of Galveston. It was VERY windy so the rides on the pier were closed, but no one was at either of the pools and hot tub but us - very enjoyable. We picked up pizza for the gang for dinner.

April 20,2022, Wednesday
Did a load of laundry at the condo before we start the trek home. Spent the afternoon by the pool and picked up dinner from Salsa Mexican restaurant. The mamas crossed the street to take one last dip in the ocean before they leave tomorrow morning.

April 21, 2022, Thursday
Went to say goodbye to the gang this morning and pick up sunscreen, juices, etc. to take home in the RV. I went for my walk and then we sat looking out at the ocean. Daniel was picking up his hoses and I asked if they were leaving. “Somebody’s got to pay for this,” as he pointed to the colossal house on wheels. “Gotta get back to work.” After a while he motioned to us about the view - the Umbrella Rental Truck in particular. The surf and wind were loud so we used hand gestures.

We signaled back that we could see to the right and left of the truck. He made a hand signal and proceeded to step over the rope and walk down to the vendor, squat on his haunches for a minute. Then he came back up,  held up 5 fingers and went about his business. Sure enough, after a few minutes the vendor stood up, walked to the truck, started it up and moved forward to clear the view. Daniel finished his work, swiped his sweaty forehead, grabbed a water and his chair and asked if he could join us. Of course! He sat down and said, “I want to be you guys. I can’t wait until I can do what you are doing. I hope I live that long.” He had told the vendor that he paid a lot of money for the ocean view, not the side of his truck.

He talked about his youth and how he would stand in line for hours before school to get rations, that his parents still live there, that Romania revolted and became independent from USSR in 1989, that his grandfather was a land owner of high status who resisted the Communist takeover and consequently spent 10 years in prison where they pulled out all of his teeth, how the president and his wife were executed by the people on live TV to end Communist Rule in Romania. It’s amazing what you can learn in 15 minutes of conversation.

As Daniel bid us adieu and went around the back of the rig, Sophia came around the front to join us with her mermaid and Girl Scout dolls that she got at Moody Gardens.

We went to Sonny’s Place for dinner. When Nora was in nursing school here at UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch) Rich and Tres lived in Houston. They came to visit Nora frequently and he has many fond memories of the food and the owners. Well, Junior, now 91, has been there since he was 20. So Rich asked him if he remembered Nora Colomb and Richard stepped out of the kitchen saying HE remembered Nora! He then pulled out the 1988 Yearbook and found her picture. Hurricane Ike flooded the place in 2008 and they lost a lot of stuff, but this was still in tact.

Nora - 2nd row, 3rd in from left 😊

This is 1/2 of a Muffaletta of which I took 1/2 home…

Apricity West 2

April 8, 2022, Friday
The Eye Clinic called to tell me that the delivery they had planned for my glasses didn’t work out, but a woman customer who was in the clinic lived in Deming and was willing to meet me to deliver them. She (Olivia) called my cell and told me where we could meet. When we got there, I thanked her profusely for doing this. She said that she goes into Palomas every day for her magnets so it was no bother. Magnets? She explained that she and her husband are 84 years old and he fell and broke his hip so had surgery. She also had issues with her shoulder as she had worked as a cashier for many decades in Safeway and other markets. She couldn’t raise her arm or put it behind her. Since he was healing, she needed another option from surgery. So she is having magnets put on various parts of her body by using her clothing and ace bandages. She proclaimed that she didn't feel anything. The only thing she felt was relief of pain. She lifted her arm above her head and even reached behind her back. I Googled it and it is a thing…

From there we went to visit Rich and Fran Tilgner at their apartment. They are so much fun to visit with as they have many stories to tell about the dude ranch in Colorado where they lived year round for 5 years with NO prior experience. And the medical issues are told in a way that makes you laugh out loud. Fran is still creating her crocheted critters for charities and the sheer fun of it.

April 9, 2022, Saturday
Went to the park for the town yard sale to support Dennis and he offered to share his table with us for Rich’s cards. It turns out that this was strictly yard stuff - no crafts so we "people watched" for a few hours - there sure were some interesting people to see. Later in the day Dennis invited us over to his place in the lots in the back of the park for a cocktail. It was so windy that we sat on the east side of his 5th wheel looking out into the desert. A black tailed jackrabbit (aka, American desert hare) hopped by on a mission. These speedy animals are capable of reaching 40 miles per hour. They are not actually jackrabbits, but are hares, born with fur and larger than rabbits. They usually have taller legs and longer ears than rabbits.

Feeling sore all over today, probably because I haven’t walked since Thursday! Back on track tomorrow.

April 10, 2022, Sunday
Walked today in spite of the strong winds - I had to take my jacket off because it is still hot. Listened to the Lee UCC Palm Sunday Service while walking. Dennis came over for cocktail hour and I played him a special tune, “My Heart Will Go On” from the movie, Titanic.

April 11, 2022, Monday
Walk, walk, walk. Marilyn arrived in Deming today - staying at Rockhound State Park. We met for lunch and then she came to our place for a visit.

April 12, 2022, Tuesday
Winds howled and bounced us around all night long - 25-35 mph!

Dennis came over for cocktail hour and had some great cowboy stories about his life on the Rocking K Keller Ranch where these two wheels survived over 100 years. He recalls that in 3rd grade they got electricity, and 5th grade they had indoor plumbing.

Four or five neighboring families each had 400-500 head of mother cows of Angus beef - they would drive 2,000 up the mountain; at age 13 - 15, he used 3 - 4 horses a day riding drag on the drive. His family’s ranch was 1,200 acres and he and his cousin would make 4 -5 salt drops of  two 50 lb. blocks in 3 to 4 days. They made temporary fences (drift fence) to keep cows in certain sections, then move them as needed. They might lose 2 first year heifers a year to bears. Cousins spent time on the mountain keeping an eye on things - parents would bring a few groceries for them on Wednesdays, but they would catch young ducks (the size of Cornish game hens) in the high mountain cricks which were delicious. Or catch 10-12 fish and cook them in a hot grease cast iron pan without gutting them (but without heads) - just like sardines. The parents included a case of 22 shells for each of them. His girlfriend (soon to be wife) Brenda was a skilled rider. When they got married his Dad said, “I can’t hire a man or two to take your place. I will build you a house if you stay." Dennis said, "Dad, it’s all I’ve known and I would like to try something different.” His Dad said, “There are things that I want to try, too.” So he put it up for sale and it was gone. He went to electrician school and became a master.

One winter storm was vicious with snow up to the belly of the horses. They had a team of four workhorses pulling a wagon (with the wheels pictured above) which turned into a sled with runners in the snow. They harnessed the team to break snow to make a path for the cows to come in and eat. Hay was loose - had to pitchfork it on and off. They had 200 acres of corn for feed - ensilage. One of their Rhode Island Red roosters would get into the ensilage and he would be trying to crow - but was so drunk from the fermented juice that he squawked instead.

In early spring, mid-January, they were calving 24 hours a day - creating a holding pen for 1st year heifers on the side. They would coax all of the pregnant cows along. Dad was a stickler for caring for the moms. Calves left behind were put on the the front of the saddle of the horse to get them home. At the homestead there was a mudroom to take off clothes with blood and mud all over them. And this was all done before school!

Colorado oak brush required ducking under branches while sitting on a horse. His cousin was on a big old bay horse with full chaps and branches overhead when he came to an abrupt halt. Dennis was on his mare called Beauty.  He gave her a spur to move, then looked between her ears to see a mama bear and 2 cubs. He was grabbing for mane as she reared straight up and turned 180 degrees and sped back where they came from. After that they stayed out in the forest for “cow camp,”  made makeshift corral for the 2 horses, and built a big fire. At midnight they heard the most ungodly screeching rattling noise. The horses broke out of the corral, so they built the fire back up and waited for morning. They went to fetch the horses in their cowboy boots, taking bridles, then went back up to get saddles and gear. They assumed that it was wild turkeys that caused the raucous.

Rich had a quarter horse and his sister had one too. He had to shovel, water and feed the horses. He and Tres would go down and ride them. One of them stepped in a gopher hole while Tres was riding and she went over his head - scary but all were OK.

April 13, 2022, Wednesday
The wind finally calmed down for a spell so we went out to visit Marilyn in Rockhound State Park. It is a lovely setting there and she is happy as a clam - nice covered picnic area for each site and clean bathrooms. She has hit the lower 48 states so has to get to Alaska in 2023. We were concerned about her making the trip alone, but she assured us that she checks in with her brother regularly when she is on the road which put our minds to rest. We may see her out East in 2024.

April 14, 2022, Thursday
We began the process of packing everything up (outside rug, table, grill, fire pit, covering bikes, etc.) and even hooked the car up today. We take off for Fort Stockton, TX in the morning, making our way to Galveston to meet up with my daughter and grandsons❤️ Can’t wait…

Dennis came for supper tonight - pork chops, barge kraut, apple saucey stuff I make, and bourbon bacon salad. It was a tearful goodbye 😢

Apricity West 2

I forgot to put this picture at Donutbar in last week. We’re starting to look like donuts ourselves while living the good life!

April 1, 2022, Friday - Happy Birthday, Nora Colomb (Rich’s 1st born)

We were on the road by 8:15am with a 3 hour drive over Interstate 10 to Dream Catcher RV Park, Deming, NM. It was an uneventful ride, but we did pass through Texas Canyon with its magnificent boulders suddenly popping up in the landscape.

Now that we are set up in our beloved Site 9, you can see why this is the request Rich makes each time he stays here.
It is one of the few sites that has a towering conifer to provide shade for us. But I find myself moving from shade to sun and back to shade again - currently the WIND is strong and constant and the sun is bold and bright. The other reason Rich likes this spot is that he has a clear view of all who come and go. He also managed this park for a while so knows (or used to know) a lot of people here. When he went to the office to check in, he got a lot of information about those who are not here any longer. Diane & Tom and Ursala & Mike left the Erpu lots to join Zillah and Keith at Desert Oasis. It seems that 7 couples followed them over there due to a sizable increase in the lease here.

Last year we spent quality time with Dennis and Brenda (who boasted that he was the only man she ever kissed as they were together since high school). Sadly, she passed away in August. Lost without her, Dennis spent about 5 months in Homer, Alaska with one of his daughters and is now here for a while to take care of his affairs and decide where to live. We look forward to seeing him.

April 2, 2022, Saturday
A day of adjustment - the sounds here in Deming are very different from Tucson where the Air Force jets were taking off and landing, sonic booms of jets taking off at a straight up trajectory, and distant traffic swooshes are now replaced with distant sounds of trains, planes and automobiles (oh, and the wind).

The birds here are much more vocal and far overpower the hummingbirds in Tucson - ha!

Mourning Dove

White winged Dove

Great-tailed Grackle

Surprisingly, the Grackle has the prettiest voice and song.

There is no pool here, so I am taking my maiden walk since the broken fibula. I am not limping anymore and the only pain is when I do steps which is more about my hip than my leg. 2000 steps around the park and then another 1000 at the car show. Doesn’t sound like much, but it is only 4 weeks - supposed to take 6 weeks to heal!

Really missing Terri and Jim this weekend - they are the best host and hostess of Tucson.

Dennis stopped by with his friend, Steve, to say hello. They were headed for the car show in town so we also visited the event. My first car show!

Love the teardrop…

Then we took a detour to Rock Hound State Park, 6 miles into the desert. People like to hike up the mountain looking for geodes and cornelians.

April 3, 2022, Sunday
Did my 2000 steps around the park while listening to Lee UCC service. Then I practiced my ukulele as I do most every day - it is becoming more natural and I am trying new chords and strumming.

Not much going on today - Deming can be best described as a hot and dusty desert town. It’s more about the people here. Went to Walmart for copy paper and stopped at China Restaurant for an order to go which was our meal of the day.

April 4, 2022, Monday
Did my usual walk plus a few hundred more steps. I am in “training" to be able to walk 3 miles a day in June when I go to Broadway with Amy B. and Nora (granddaughter) for Road Scholar’s Behind the Velvet Curtain trip.

I walked by a familiar 5th wheel, truck, and spider (3 wheeled motorcycle). The man was outside so asked him if he had been in North Ranch, Congress, AZ. His wife came outside and when I mentioned Rich’s name, the woman said, “We met you in North Ranch.” Ah, Rich was right - they were the friends of Duane and Louise Wegley, who left NR early as Louise was scheduled to have a shoulder replacement. Brock and Leola were actually suiting up to go on a trip to Silver City recommended and mapped out by Duane.

Dennis invited us over to his 5th wheel to “chew the fat.” We were there for 2 1/2 hours catching up. It has only been 7 months since Brenda passed and we shared many stories about her wit and sense for humor.

Watched the first episode of Ken Burns’ Benjamin Franklin. I really enjoy historical documentaries. It was packed with all kinds of information. Can’t imagine what the last 2 hours will reveal tomorrow night!

April 5, 2022, Tuesday
I did my walk routine in spite of 20 to 40 mph winds predicted. Temperature will be 80 today but a dust storm as well.

Went over the see Zillah and Keith Karstetter at Desert Oasis. He built a cute little 8’x 8’ shelter from sun and wind - perfect size for 4 people to sit and visit or play board games. They walk 2 miles every morning and pick up cornelians that they spot along the way. This is a fraction of their collection:

Watched Benjamin Franklin - the last two hours of the series was full of things I did not know about the Revolutionary War and what a role the Franklins (father and son) played in it from opposing points of view. I really enjoyed the whole show.

April 6, 2022, Wednesday
There aren’t any breweries around here, but there is a winery 10 minutes from us. We had a light lunch with a flight (four 2 oz. glasses) of 2 whites and 2 reds.

Meet Kayla our lovely sommelier - I’d be willing to bet she has a full body tattoo. Her nails are 3 inches long with red color on the underside.

Lescombes is the family name. The new label, 6-3-1, stands for 6 generations, 3 continents (North America, France, and Africa), 1 passion. Most of their vineyards are in Lordsburg, NM where the soil is most like that in Africa. The wines we chose to buy and bring home were Pinot Grigio and Merlot - expensive for our taste, but the experience is what it is all about.

Dennis stopped by for a cocktail and we sat outside watching 2 young men wash and detail the camper. It was well worth seeing it sparkle in the sun.

April 7, 2022, Thursday
Rich had an appointment in Palomas, Mexico to see the dentist, Dr. Lam, for a cleaning.

If you can see the white dot in the sky, it is a tethered Border Control balloon with cameras on state side.

After that we went to the Pink Store for margaritas and lunch. This familiar little lady (Pink Store mascot) charges $1 for a picture - we gave her $2. She was here last year as well.

After lunch, I went across the courtyard to see if the eye doctor had time to do an exam on me. Last year he gave me a new prescription, but I could never get used to them and changed back to my original lenses. But things are seeming a little fuzzy now, so I’ll have him check me again. I told him my saga, and he took another look which resulted in another prescription. It takes 2 hours to make them and we were done with our errands. They happen to be delivering to Deming tomorrow so we will meet them at Walmart. In the meantime, I am wearing a pair Rich’s cheaters.

On the way home, we stopped in Columbus, New Mexico to gas up - 4.04/gallon!

Dennis paid another visit this afternoon. So many great stories…

New England 5

July 24, 2024 -  Wednesday  If you guessed Marilyn as our nomadic visitor, you are right. Her brother and niece live in Oregon, so she call...
