April 9, 2023 - Easter Sunday
Randy (my son) and his family stopped by on the way to the family farm in Tyringham.

Kristie made a gorgeous/delicious apple pie and sugar cookies for us - she is a great baker.

Shannon (my daughter) and her family came for dinner (forgot to get them all in a picture together). She makes a wonderful artichoke and spinach dip which we polished off, as well as a hearty salad. Rich was the chef and prepared shrimp scampi with glazed carrots. It was a great day... Maci and Sky came as well.

April 11, 2023 - Tuesday
Our neighbors across the street recently opened a new restaurant in town, Burmese Bowl. Their two boys helped us unload the camper (Clark and Khant Movers) and are very good friends of my grandsons. It was a pleasure to eat there today. The food was delicious, very reasonably priced, with great service too. We certainly wish them well in this endeavor!

April 12, 2023 - Wednesday
Finally got to the surgeon’s office for an appointment. This is the x-ray from May 2022. As you can see, I already had replacement of left hip 5 years ago.

Collapsed joint in Tucson in February 2023…

My surgery is scheduled for May 30 unless there is a cancellation before then. I can’t believe I have to wait 6 weeks to take care of this. I sure envy all of the Spring walkers passing by.

April 13, 2023 - Thursday
We did a physical inventory on all of Rich’s art to start with a clean slate for the Farmers’ Market.

Met sister Cindy and Jimmy at Zucchini’s Restaurant in Lanesboro. They were able to get away to a friend’s timeshare by Jiminy Peak so we will meet halfway between here and there for dinner. Everyone loved their meal.
